Memo Requests

SAMPLE (MEMO) REQUESTS
A memo is a small representative sample of a fabric. Generally, memos are 4 inches long by 8 inches wide for solid colors. Memos are significantly larger for brocade, plaids, and stripes so that the customer can get a more accurate representation of the design or embroidery that may be found in these types of silks.

Note: Because dye lots change periodically, memo samples may be very slightly different in the color, texture, or pattern from the dye lot that we currently have in stock. Therefore, if you are looking for an exact match to a particular color, we recommend requesting a Cutting for Approval (CFA) before placing an order.

CUTTING FOR APPROVAL
When you request a cutting for approval (CFA) when placing an order, we will send you a small 1 inch by 2 inch cutting of the fabric from the particular dye lot that we have in stock. Upon your approval of the cutting, we will ship your order. Because dye-lots change, the CFA is a great way to ensure that you will get an exact match to the color you approve.
