JRB Silks collaborates with Connie Valente, as strategic planner and creative designer as we expand our offerings to our clients. She is in charge of our Fabrication Division and welcomes all to contact her directly with questions and requests that may serve your needs.

Connie Valente has been involved with art, design, and fabric creations since her childhood. Several generations of seamstresses before her in the family, she began sewing at age ten, winning sewing competitions as a preteen. The passion of the art took her to Italy where she studied tailoring for four years, trained by high fashion designers. Fascinated by design and the textiles in Europe she visited many silk factories and design centers in Como Italy, at the time the silk capital of the world. After years of working within the Home Fashion Industry, she is nationally recognized as an artisan of custom designs and fabrications.

She is honored to have been interviewed and have work published in many magazines within the design industry and with dedicated hours of study and exams has earned numerous certifications and accolades such as:
