Frequently Asked
How big are your samples?
Our samples range in size and could be anywhere from 2"x 2" up to 8"x 6", and sometimes even larger for plaid, striped and embroidered fabric.
Can I hand or machine wash Silk Fabrics?
Silks tend to lose their luster when they are hand or machine washed. Therefore, we suggest dry clean only.
Can I order less than one yard?
No, we have a minimum order requirement of at least one yard when ordering yardage (memos, CFAs, and/or color cards can constitute a single order).
Do you give discounts for trade?
We do sometimes offer discounts on large quantity orders. Please inquire.
How are shipping charges calculated?
Your shipping charges are based on your zip code, order size, and service selected (UPS Ground, Next Day Air, etc).
How long have you been in business?
Our parent company has been in business since 1993. JRB Silks has been in operation since 2008.
I am a local customer. Can I pick up my fabric from your warehouse?
We do not have a license to sell retail and our insurance does not allow customer pick-ups from our warehouse facilities.
If I send you a swatch, can you match it for me?

What additional specifications can I make on my fabric purchase?
Fabric can be ordered with knit backing, paper backing, and stain protection. Sidemarks, cut sizes, and additional information can be specified at checkout as well.
What are memos?
A memo is a small representative sample of the fabric that is provided to the customer at a small fee upon request.

Can I change or cancel my order after it is placed?
Orders can be cancelled or changed as long as the fabric has not already been cut from the bolt. Please call our Customer Service Department at 1-678-661-1781 for further details.

What payment options are available?
We accept any one of the major credit cards including American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. We do not accept personal checks or money orders online and we do not ship Cash on Delivery (COD).
When I place an order, what additional charges may I incur?
There will be additional charges for fabric ordered with backing and/or stain protection. Taxes will also be charged in accordance with the shipping address of your order. In addition, shipping and handling fees are applicable (for more information, visit Shipping Details).
Privacy & Security
Will my information be shared with third parties?
JRB Silks does not lend any personal information about its customers to third parties.
How do I access or change my account information?
You can view and change your account information by logging into your myJRB account and clicking the "View or change my account information" link.
How do I deactivate my account?
Please e-mail support@jrbsilks.com. Make sure to include your account information in the e-mail (your name and e-mail address associated with the account).
How does JRB Silks make sure my transaction is safe and secure?
To ensure the highest level of security for our customers, we use High Grade 264-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption that prevents unauthorized users from viewing information traveling between jrbsilks.com and your computer. Additionally, all credit card information is processed externally on a Paypal Secure Server in order to further protect your identity.
Shipping Information
When will I receive my order?
We generally ship fabric within 48 hours of payment. However, please allow 7-10 days for shipment from our warehouse.
UPS Ground (Standard):
Depending on your zip code, within 1 to 5 business days
UPS 2nd Business Day:
Delivered 2nd business day, irrespective of zip code.
UPS Next Business Day:
Delivered next business day, irrespective of zip code.
Do you ship internationally?
We can ship your fabric anywhere in the world.
Return Policy
What is your return policy?
All returns should be sent to our mailing address. All purchases are refundable with a 30% restocking fee when returned within 30 days of shipping date. No refunds are available after 30 days.
Shortage claims and damaged items must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
We cannot provide refunds on fabrics that have been cut, altered, or tailored in any way. No refunds on knit-backed fabric, paper-backed fabric, memos, or color cards. Shipping charges are also not refunded.
No returns, refunds or cancellations on pillows or any other custom made workroom products.
Backorders (fabric specifically woven for your purchase order) cannot be cancelled once placed. No refunds, returns, or cancellations on backordered fabric.
Handmade fabrics are not guaranteed against textural variation, colorfastness, exact color or texture matching or durability. Dye lot cuttings must be requested for color match. Variation with color and texture may occur within a single piece and between one piece and another due to the irregular nature of silk yarn. This is the natural characteristic of silk fabric.
Before shipping your fabric back to us, please call and request a Return Authorization Number (RAN). This will enable us to process your return more quickly.
