Silk Habotai, sometimes spelled habutae, is an ultra light, delicate silk fabric with a smooth finish and flowing drape. We stock 96 colors of silk habotai, which derives its name from the Japanese word meaning "soft as feathers". Silk habotai has a plain weave and is lustrous and graceful making it a great fabric selection for decor, linings, scarves and garments requiring a lightweight silk fabric with a soft sheen and fluidity.
